Trailblazing a zero-carbon future

AT MOiON WE ARE DEDICATED TO DEVELOP CUTTING-EDGE SOLUTIONS THAT WILL DRIVE THE FUTURE OF HEAVY-DUTY WITH A LIGHTER TOUCH ON THE PLANET.

SIMPLE TRUTH

Some facts on

heavy-duty impact

# 1

Europe’s trade and commerce backbone.

77%

of all freight forwarded in European countries is transported over land.

>25%

of greenhouse gas emissions from road transport is generated from the heavy-duty truck sector.

OUR VISION

Moving innovation
onwards

We believe there is an urgent need to address the often overlooked heavy-duty truck and off-road sector, which is a critical economic backbone but a major source of CO2 emissions.

That’s why we’re dedicated to moving innovation onwards: by providing clients with comprehensive consulting and engineering expertise and cutting-edge hydrogen powertrain solutions that drive the future of heavy-duty with a lighter touch on the planet.

COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF PREDICTIVE ENERGY MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Predictive Energy Management enables an efficiency increase of up to 10%. By predicting the power demand of the drivetrain based on real-time traffic data and slope gradients, the system optimizes overall energy consumption. With the battery acting as an energy storage system, both the fuel cell's power efficiency and the vehicle's overall economy are improved. In addition to the efficiency gains, the fuel cell operates more smoothly, extending the component's lifespan.

Leveraging the SeLv intellectual property and Aachen’s e-mobility network, MOiON plans to produce and launch Hydrogen Electric heavy-duty trucks in 2025, the first running prototype created in November 2023.
